DEFINED AS:  A person who organizes, operates, and assumes the risk for a business venture.  We are seeking candidates who have been in business at least 6 years, including franchisees. Candidates must own at least 25% of the business and be fully engaged and active in the day-to-day operations of the business.

   UP & COMING ENTREPRENEUR of the Year
DEFINED AS:  A person who organizes, operates, and assumes the risk for a business venture. We are seeking candidates who have been in business between 2 and 5 years, including franchisees. Candidates must own at least 25% of the business and be fully engaged and active in the day-to-day operations of the business.
           
    CORPORATE LEADER of the Year
We are seeking candidates who do not hold a majority stake in the ownership of a company.  This category is specifically for women leaders who have made significant contributions to women in business in our community and/or NE Florida within the last 5 years.  Nonprofit organizations are included in this category.

    PIONEER of the Year
We are seeking candidates who have blazed the way by making significant, long-term contributions to the role of women business owners in our community and/or NE Florida and who have incurred significant business obstacles along the way.  Candidates may come from any sector of the local business community, including nonprofit organizations.
