SPOTLIGHT SPEAKER

Sandy Myers
Mary Kay, Beauty Consultant

Born and raised in Jacksonville's Arlington area, Sandy Myers embarked on her retail career at Edwards Pipe Shop alongside their father during high school. By the age of 20, they co-expanded the business, opening a second store in San Marco, specializing in cigars, upscale gifts, and writing instruments. Over 27 years, they became a staple in Historic San Marco Square, progressively expanding their presence with each relocation.

Following the sell of her business and caring for her parents, she founded My Best Friends Closet, an upscale consignment shop catering to plus-size women's clothing, which was later sold to devote more time to her father after her mother's passing. The speaker's mother, an avid explorer and a believer in the power of personal care, instilled in her a love for travel, diverse cultures, and the importance of skincare and lipstick. These influences led the Sandy to start a business with Mary Kay, focusing on skincare and empowering women, embodying the legacy of their mother's values.
